Each and every visitor is of great importance for us, be he or she our colleague, patient or patient’s relative, someone who shows interest in psychiatry irrespective of gender, age, occupation, social status. Your interest might be deep or superficial, yet it is very significant for us.

We, the staff of Phoenix, have dedicated our lives to PSYCHIATRY. The statement Mental health is the greatest value of the society, though often made, is still acute! This motto was important yesterday, it has not lost its significance today and will be topical tomorrow.

And now we shall say some words about the objectives of the site.

We are ready, by virtue of our competence and awareness – to answer any questions conscientiously, frankly, conspicuously – unless these questions require breach of confidence by law. We do not use this site to appeal, or teach, or instruct. What else do we not do?

1. We are not engaged in politics, neither take part in political moves and do not give psychiatric commentaries to politicians, authorities, other citizens;
2. We do not diagnose in absentia, neither make any conclusions, nor prescribe treatments;
3. We do not publish here any data personifying definite people (full name, address, place of employment, etc.), which could disclose our patients, staff members, etc.

Our interests are different, which you will see upon further acquaintance with us. Using our site, you can:

1. obtain information on our Center, its potentialities, gains and hardships, the current practice and, of course, its principle property, i.e. the staff;
2. obtain commentaries to the medical, legal and other documents sent to us and referring to psychiatry;
3. learn about our principles and approaches, some being debatable, to the problems of psychiatry: clinical presentation, mental illnesses treatment, social, legal and other adjacent to psychiatry spheres (therapy, neuroscience, cardiology, gynecology, endocrinology, etc.);
4. get acquainted with theoretical and practical achievements in psychiatry, primarily with the new plans and ideas of the Center;
5. realize that psychiatry, mental disorders, mental patients are the same as those in traditional medicine: these people are not dangerous, but full-fledged and recoverable; while our mottos – There are no hopeless patients and There is nothing impossible, there are incapable people – are not at all speculative philosophy, but reality;
6. see the art of the people with mental disorders.
