Common questions :: Questions to Doctor

alone (USA): Is it really true that I can tell Dr. Bukhanovskiy Alexander Olimpievich what is going on in my head and he will not tell anyone? That he would help me instead of turning me in? Or does he only help people in Russia? I am very afraid. I feel I am loosing control and will not be able to resist this thing in me much longer. I am afraid of myself. My thoughts are bad, very bad. One therapist I told didn't take me seriously. He said I should "nurture" my bad thoughts. I can't hold on much longer. I'm sick. If I don't get help, things will be bad, I will be bad. Please respond.

Hello, Alone!
You seem to be suffering from depression, probably chronic depression. However in your absence we can hardly diagnose you and find the treatment. Depression is not a fatal disease. Our general goal is to cut the depression short. The American and Russian ways of treatment are different: the doctors in the USA mainly use monotherapy, typically with some antidepressant drug, while we here practice absolutely different approaches. Our principles are those of complex therapy aimed at arresting the depressive symptoms. But it should be noted that we are not Gods, hence we cannot give a 100% guarantee. We not only treat people from Russia and SIC countries, but foreign patients as well, mainly Russian speaking ones. Yet we employ in our Center a therapist from India, D-r Mawani Dawal, whose English is quite fluent.

Sincerely yours, Bukhanovskiy AO
